Predicting The Future

Image
Predicting the Future In the contemporary world, physics and mathematics are used to predict the future. One such idea within the field of physics is Laplace’s demon. This theory states that if we know the position and motion of every particle in the universe, we can mathematically predict the future and precisely cite the past. What is interesting about this idea is its application. Suppose we create a defined environment such as our solar system and create Adam and Eve on Earth. We can fuel this by using the computing power form quantum computers due to qubits. If we let this simulate the birth of humanity and the rise of civilization, we can witness new discoveries and potential problems that we will encounter in the future. This will further research immensely and will, in turn, help humanity take one step closer to becoming a type 1 civilization – one that controls their native solar system. Is It Possible To Think Of A New Color?

Image
Colour What is colour? Colour is nothing but photons with a wavelength which triggers the sensitive cone cells in our retina. The wavelength spectrum which corresponds to the visible light is from 380 – 780 nanometers. Now the question arises, is it possible to think of a new colour? Contrary to popular belief, the answer is yes. A photon which has a wavelength of 380 followed by infinite 0 and then a 1 is distinct relative to a photon which has a wavelength of 380 followed by infinite 0 and then a 2. These two different waves are technically two different colours. Therefore, through deductive reasoning, I conclude that it is possible to think of a new colour as there are infinite different wavelengths inside the electromagnetic spectrum which is nothing but infinite colours. So those of you saying that you can’t think of a new colour, scientifically, it is possible to imagine another one. However, you won’t notice it as a new colour due to the lack of sensitivity of your co...

Coronavirus: There is Hope for an end - The Month of May

Image
With the advent of COVID-19, the world is under a strict lock down with no foreseeable escape. From a common Joe’s perspective, the world seems to be approaching a true dystopia. Contrary to this belief, with the help of statistics, the reign of the Coronavirus can be predicted to end soon. In a previous statistical comparison, a correlation between Temperature and median age of a country was brought out tied to the number of incident cases: More than 75% of the cases occur in regions from temperatures ranging from 5 ° C to 15 ° C with a median age lying between 35 – 50 years. Countries like China, Italy and the US – in particular New York- are found within this region. This, in turn, elucidates the impression that Cases are likely to emerge in countries with these conditions in mind. When we look at China’s cases in march from using the database published by https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/china/ , it is clear that the number of cases are coming...

Coronavirus: Temperature and Median Age shows a trend for the Number of Cases

Image
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the world is facing unprecedented fear with no foreseeable end. However, the virus’s spread shows a trend with relation to the mean temperature and median age of the location. The following tables represent the correlation with these two variables and the number of cases present in the world. Note: For the US, have only considered New York and assumed  for each country the temperature is constant throughout. Data considers  only the top 90 countries with cases. Countries with a mean temperature ranging from 5 ° C to 15 ° C with a median age lying between 35 and 50 consist of above 75% of all recorded cases of the Coronavirus. -Advaith Ravishankar References https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ https://www.thebesttimetovisit.com/weather/india-in-march-3-country-id-85.html
